  • The use of raw onion is valuable in a cough. This vegetable should be chopped fine and the juice extracted from it. One teaspoon of the juice should then be mixed with one teaspoon of honey and kept for four or five hours-it will make an excellent cough syrup and should be taken twice daily.
  • Sucking a piece of Sugar candy or Black pepper or Ginger or turmeric or Cinnamon gives instant relief and slowly reduces Cough.
  • One of the easiest methods would be to add a pinch of grounded white pepper in one tea spoon of pure honey. Intake this 2 to 3 times a day for about 4 to 5 days.
  • The root of the turmeric plant is useful in a dry cough. The root should he roasted and powdered. This powder should be taken in three gram doses twice daily, in the morning and evening.
  • Increase in the consumption of garlic also acts beneficial in treating cough.

Then, add a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice to this concoction, along with a few drops of honey, just to make it more palatable. Drink this mixture once a day.
  • Make a tea mixing 1 tsp of bayberry bark, 1 tsp of grated ginger root, ½ tsp of cayenne powder and 1 cup of boiling water this is best for flue treatment.
  • Take Gelsemium if feeling chills, aches, fever, not thirsty.
  • Grapefruit seed extract has antibacterial, antibiotic, antiviral, anti fungal, antioxidant and antiparasitic properties. Taking grapefruit seed extract will alkalize your body's fluid by raising the PH which will disable the flu virus to survive.
  • If you want to make your own grapefruit seed juice, get a pink grapefruit and extract the liquid from the seed, pulp and white membrane. Otherwise, buy the extract which is available in capsules, liquid extract and tablets. If you are using the liquid extract, put about 15 drops into a glass of orange juice and drink it.
  • Mix a teaspoon or turmeric powder in a glass of warm milk and consume this remedy at least two or preferably three times a day. This helps strengthen the liver and alleviates the symptoms of flu.

  • Avoid eating a heavy meal before bedtime. You should finish eating at least 2-3 hours before your regular bedtime and avoid spicy foods that may cause heartburn.
  • Follow a consistent schedule: dramatically changing a sleep schedule, for example staying up very late on weekends can have an adverse affect on the mind's ability to rest
  • Unplug from your day and leave the office at the office. If you still have a list of things leftover it is best to write them down with a simple to-do list for the morning. Avoid having arguments unresolved.
  • Exercise: regular exercise helps the body to stay fit and helps sleep patterns as well. However, it is important to stop exercise at least an hour before bedtime as it may act as a stimulant.
